Do my children need to wear socks?
Yes, all children must wear socks at all times.
Do you sell socks?
Yes, we sell various sized socks.
Is there food available for my children?
Yes, we sell healthy snacks and juice. You may also bring your own snacks or drinks.
If my kids are there for open play, can I leave and run an errand?
No, once your kids are checked in and playing, you may not leave unless your children are in the care of another parent or guardian.
When children are left for drop-in child care, how are they cared for?
Children who come to Hopper's House for drop-in child care are each assigned to a specific employee, who will oversee and assist the child with play, bathroom visits, and snacks, if needed.
How many kids can comfortably fit in a party room?
The price of the party package includes 12 kids (plus the birthday child), but our party rooms can accommodate more kids for an additional $10/child. Please contact us for availability and details.
Can I book a private party?
No. Due to the variety of programs that we offer (ex. drop-in child care), we do not host private parties. We do have two party rooms where we can hold booked events. These rooms allow the party's guest space to eat and gather. However, the play areas remain open to all Hopper's House guests.
What food can I bring from home for a party?
We do not allow any outside food or drinks to be brought in for a birthday party except for cake and ice cream. We have party food that can be ordered through Hopper's House. See our party food menu for prices and options.
When my kids are left for drop-in care or track-out, are they allowed to bring anything with them?
We ask that when your kids come to Hopper's House for track-out or drop-in care, they do not bring in any outside toys or favorite items as they could get lost or taken.
If if bring my children in for track-out, can I bring their lunch from home or do you provide lunch for them?
They may bring their lunch from home or purchase lunch through us.
Is a deposit required to have a party?
A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance is due and payable on the day of your party.
What if I have more than 13 guests at a party?
Additional guests are welcome! There is a $10 charge per additional guest over the number included in your party package. If you are inviting more than thirty guests, please let us know at the time of booking so that we may suggest other types of party options.
Is there an additional charge for siblings, parents, and/or caregivers at a party?
There is no additional charge for parents or care-givers. If the total guest count exceeds 13, there is a $10 per guest charge for those aged one through twelve.
Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?
You are welcome to use your own decorations and/or paper products in the party room. To preserve the integrity of our party rooms, we do not permit wall or ceiling decorations, streamers, silly string, confetti, or pinatas.
Can I bring food to my party?
You may bring cake, cupcakes, and ice cream. We are sorry, but no other outside food is permitted.
*You will incur a fee of $50.00 if non-permitted/outside food is brought to your party.
Can I bring my own goodie bags and/or balloons to a party?
If you are not purchasing our goodie bags you are welcome to bring your own. You may also bring in your own balloons. We would be happy to inflate your balloons for $.50 each.
Are there any additional items that I need to bring to the party?
For your cake you will need candles, a serving knife, and a lighter (no matches please).
